Shaken not stirred is a project aimed at transforming a family's early 20th-century home into an adaptable living space that can evolve with their changing needs. This involves an addition to the house and a redesign of the outdoor-indoor relationship. The goal was to seamlessly add an extension to a traditional house with a strict and well defined outer perimeter. The answer lay in a non-traditional shaped extension with traditional materials and components. While preserving the home's historic character it also future-proofs the house, ensuring that it remains a thriving home for generations to come.

Incorporating energy-efficient solutions, sustainable materials and solar energy, the project will strive to minimise the house environmental impact.
