Forest for rest is a multi-generational vacation home for a family living a busy metropolitan life abroad. The project is set on a steep, secluded and forested slope in the undulating inner part of Halland in southern Sweden, making building it potentially challenging but the end result potentially breathtaking. 

The design process is allowed to take time, contemplation and exploration is important to find the absolute perfect answer to the aspirations and budget of the client. The project is to be truly sustainable with reuse, local timber and respect for the nature on site in focus. More updates soon as the process evolves!
